The earlier article focused on the process of configuring the NetSuite transactions with respect to the Settings tab. This article outlines the process of configuring the various Display options to customize the posting of transactions.
This area sets up how the transaction is categorized and the information that appears within the transaction. The most common setup options are the transaction numbering and transaction date.
To configure the posting options for NetSuite transactions
1. In the Store Setup screen, under the Transactions screen section, click the Display Options tab.
2. Under the Display Options tab:
a. If you want to display the phone number in transactions, click the first option and select where you want to display (in Description field as a line item or in Other field).
b. Customize how you want to set the price level in transactions.
Note: You can select any of the options such as 'A' level customer, 10% discount level, 100% sample pricing and more.
c. If you want to display mapped items in your transactions, click the third option.
d. If you want to print a packing slip after posting our transactions into NetSuite, click the fourth option.
e. If you do not want to set the store price in your transaction record, click the fifth option.
