This article provides an overview of various display options that lets you customize how your transactions need to be posted in QuickBooks (QB)
List of options
1. Display shipment details on the transactions?:
If you select this option, the shipment details (shipment code, payment, total weight, quantity, etc) of your order in online store gets reflected in your accounting transaction of QB.
2. Display payment details on the transactions?
If you select this option, the payment details (price, discount, taxes, payment type, etc) of your online order gets reflected in QB transaction.
3. Display order notes on the transactions?
If you select this option, order (customer) notes, applicable for any order gets reflected, when you post this transaction into QB.
4. Display customer comments in transactions?
Once you select this option, customer comments, if any for any order gets reflected in the posted transaction.
5. Display phone number in transactions?
Once you select this option, two sub options: In Description Field as Line Item and In Other Field gets enabled. Based on your selection, you can either:
a. Enable Unify to display the customer numbers of your respective transactions as a line item in the Description field of the posted transactions.
b. Enable Unify to display customer phone numbers of your respective transactions in the Other field of the posted transactions.
6. Display Fulfillment Channel in transactions? Upon selection of this option, two sub-options: Line Item and Memo gets displayed. Based on your selection, you can either:
a. Enable Unify to display the fulfillment channel for your respective transactions as a line item in your your posted transactions.
b. Enable Unify to display the fulfillment channel of your respective transactions in the Memo field of your posted transactions.
7. Build Assembly products before creating transaction:
If you select this option, Unify checks for assembly products in your online store and bundles them as a single transaction and sets the build assembly date as either order or current date (based on the selected sub-options). Also, if Unify fails to build assembly products into a single product transaction and if Move Order to error tab if build assembly fail option is selected, all such transactions get moved to the error tab.
8. Set subtotal item before Tax line item:
If you select this option, the sub-total item of your product transaction of your online store gets displayed as a sub-total item preceding the Tax line item in your posted transaction.
9. Set item transaction class same as transaction class of Transaction?
For this option to work, you need to set the transaction class of the Invoice in the Setup Transaction Settings screen (under the Settings tab of the Transactions screen). Once you select this option, the item transaction classes pertaining to respective transactions of your online store gets replaced by the transaction class (that you had set under Settings) of Unify in your posted transactions.
10. Set order item price in first item when group item post as individual item:
If you select this option, the order item price of the first item within a group item (assuming there could be 3 or more items in a group) of your transaction will be set as the order item price (single price), when posted as an individual item in QuickBooks.
11. Display online OrderID on the transactions?
If you select this option, the online order id of your transactions within your store will get reflected on your posted transactions.
12. Set QuickBooks Sales Price when group item post as individual item:
If you select this option, the QuickBooks sales price will be set as a the price in the posted transaction, when group items are posted as an individual item.
Note: If you select this option, you can't select the option listed out in point 10 or vice versa.
This implies that you can select either QuickBooks sales price or order item price.
13. Do not set store price in transaction:
If you select this option, only the QuickBooks price will be set in the posted transactions, ignoring the store price.
