After you have completed the setup of how Unify will post your settlement report, transactions, items and refunds in context of the 1-Click Accounting for Amazon, you will be ready to use this feature. Since 1-Click Accounting for Amazon is a global posting function, this feature is triggered when the settlement report is posted to Xero.
Step 1: Select the Expenses icon and select Marketplace fees
Step 2: Select the settlement report that is ready for you to post to Xero and click confirm to sync to Xero
Note: only one settlement report can be posted to Xero at a time.
After the settlement report is posted to Xero, you will see a green confirmation box and there will a green check mark in the Sync column. If you hover over the check mark, Unify will display the bill in Xero that is created during this process (as shown below):

Step 4: Reconciling settlement report data in Xero
When Unify creates the settlement bill, orders or refunds it will always be attached to the Report No. of the corresponding settlement report data in Xero.
In Xero it will put the Report No. in the data of the deposit account configured in Unify for paid settlement report bills (see below):
Go to the deposit account in Xero and click reconcile (see below):
Since the deposit to account is a bank account, you may have setup a data feed directly from your bank.
There may be many items to reconcile which is why the Report No. is put in the search and find field, paste the report number in the search field of the Find & select matching transactions area.
Xero will locate all transactions associated with the report no. and all the associated transaction and you will see the the money matches and then click Reconcile.
Step 5: What happens during the reconciliation process
During the reconciliation process in Xero several things are happening with the accounting data:
- Awaiting payment invoices are marked as paid (optional)
- Orders and refunds gross amount is balanced with the net paid bill
