Navigate through Unify

The Home:

This tab brings you to the Unify Home from where you can see following:

Sales Sync: This shows the progress of current month Sales/Orders from store and it's syncing in Accounting system. Click on Sync Now button to begin syncing. Syncing will be done based on the settings configured under Settings >> Sync Sales area.

Expenses Sync: This shows the progress of current month Marketplace Fees and Shipments Fees from Amazon/eBay and Shipstation respectively and it's syncing in Accounting System. Syncing will be done based on the settings configured under Settings >> Sync Expenses area. Note: Syncing can only be done to QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Xero is not yet supported.

Items: This shows the count of Items downloaded from Store and your Accounting system. This also shows the count of Store items that can not be matched/found in Accounting system(Matching is done based on the settings configured under Settings >> Sales Sync >> Item Matching area) and requires Fix. Fix This will take you to Items >> Sales channel area, where you can choose to Create or Map missing products in Accounting.

Inventory Sync: This displays the count of Items that are matched/found between your store and QuickBooks, but their Price or Quantity is not in Sync. Sync Now will take you to Inventory >> Out-of-Sync tab, where you can choose to sync Price, Quantity or Both from Store to QuickBooks or QuickBooks to Store. Note: Quantity Sync is not yet supported for Xero.

The Sales

The Sales will have following sub-tabs:

By Date -

This will show the list of Orders from Store with a count that requires the "Sync" action. This will show the count of total "Unsynced" Orders. So if there are total 200 orders and 67 have been synced to Accounting system the count will show as 133. Orders can be synced to:

QBO/QBD - As Sales receipt or Invoice

Xero - As Invoice(Draft/Pending/Approved)

By Deposits -

Note - This tab will only appear if you have your Payments(Paypal/Stripe or Shopify) connected.

This will show deposits from Payments connections. No count will be displayed here. This only displays the Payments from Payments connections and there isn't any action required.

The Expenses

The Expenses tab will display following sub-tabs:

Payments -

Note - This tab will only appear if you have Amazon or eBay connected.

This will display the expenses data download from Amazon(Settlement reports) or eBay(Invoices). A count of reports/invoices will be shown that requires action/Sync. Expenses can be synced to your Accounting(QBO and QBD only) as Bill Paid or Unpaid. *Xero is not supported yet.

Shipping -

Note - This tab will only appear if you have Shipstation connected.

This will display the list of shipments downloaded from Shipstation with a count that requires action/Sync. Shipments can be synced to Accounting(QBO and QBD only) as Bill Paid or Unpaid. *Xero is not supported yet.

The Inventory

Unify downloads the list of Products from your sales channels and Accounting and match them based on the matching criteria as configured under Settings area. Once matched, Unify identifies the discrepancy between their Price and Quantity and display here under Inventory >> Out-of Sync tab along with count to Sync. Your can sync the Price at either location or sync Quantity from Store to QuickBooks. 

Note: Quantity sync isn't supported for Xero.

The Items

The Items will have following tabs:

Sales Channel -

This will show the list of Store items with count that are missing in QuickBooks and needs to Created or Mapped. You can select missing product here and create or map them in QuickBooks. 

Note - Items will be created based on the settings configures under Settings > Sync Inventory area.

QuickBooks -

This will show the list of QuickBooks items with count that are missing on store.

Mapped -

This will show the list of Mapped items. No counts displayed. You could delete any mapping from here and re-map it.

Hidden -

This will show the list of Hidden items. No counts displayed. Items can be Unhide from here.

The Customers

This will display the list of Out-of-Sync Items with count of customers that requires the "Sync" to Mailchimp.

Analytics

This tab brings you to the area where you can see your sales graph and revenue summary and see a brief history of what all you did, when you last logged off Unify.

The Settings

This will allow you to configure following settings:

Sync Sales -

Sync Orders as Sales receipt or Invoice(QBO/QBD) or Invoice Darf/Pending/Approved(Xero). Also configure the Product, Customer and Tax settings.

Sync Expenses -

Sync Expenses as following:

- Expenses reports from Amazon or eBay as Bill Paid or Unpaid

- Payments from Paypal/Stripe or Shopify as line item with Order in a Sales receipt or Invoice.

Sync Inventory - 

- Configure settings here to create missing items in QuickBooks from Items >> Sales Channel tab.

Automation - 

- No more manual action required now! Configure Automation to download orders and sync in Accounting every night at 11:00 pm PT. You can also choose to sync all orders of a Day into a single tranaction in your Accounting system.

Sync Purchase Orders

- This appears only when you have SkuVault and QBD connected. You can configure the settings here how you want to Sync your PO(downloaded from SkuVault) in QBD.

Account - 

- Look through your subscription details or change Password.

The Connections

This area allows you to add following connections in Unify:

- Add Accounting connection(QBO/QBD or Xero) Learn More

- Add Sales channel Learn more

- Add Payments(Paypal/Stripe or Shipofy) 

- Add Shipping(Shipstation)

- Add Email marketing(Mailchimp)
