SQL Server does not exist or access is denied

Sometimes Unify Enterprise or Shiplark don't automatically start the SQL service.  Therefore a force "Restart of Service" will need to be done.  

1. Go to the Start menu and in the search bar type "Services".  In the services window, select Local and look for the SQL Server(Unify Enterprise). 

2. Right click on "SQL Server(Unify Enterprise) and select Properties

3. Select the "Recovery" tab, then select "Restart the Service" for:

  • First failure
  • Second failure
  • Subsequent failure

Select OK.
