|1.||It is highly recommended that you keep take a regular backup of your Unify Enterprise database so that the same can be helpful in the event of unforeseen computer failure or other such circumstances. You can take regular datewise backups and keep them on a removable disk.|
|2.||You can also use the Scheduler to perform automated backups to the Unify Enterprise database. Check out the Automate with Scheduler to learn more.|
To backup the Unify Enterprise Database:
Go to the Tools menu, navigate to Unify Enterprise Database and then click on Backup.
Choose the Webgility folder then choose the Unify Enterprise folder and save the back up in that location. Or you can create a folder called "Backup" within the Unify Enterprise folder.
When the back up is complete, click OK.
Note: Your backup will be called "Unifydb.bak" and should have the current day as the file date. You can move the .bak file to another location on your computer or copy it to a flash drive, for safe keeping.
Note: You can also directly create the backup on a cloud storage system like Dropbox/Googledrive/Skydrive etc and that way, live in peace knowing that in the event of a computer crash, you will always always have a copy of the database backup in the cloud.
