Connect Unify Desktop with PrestaShop

Overview
This article walks you through the process of connecting Unify Desktop with OpenCart. For this, you need to have the URL and the admin credentials of OpenCart to enable you to successfully connect with OpenCart. However, if you want to generate the URL for your PrestaShop store, you can refer a procedure (last section) on this, which forms part of this article.
To connect Unify Desktop with PrestaShop
1. From the File menu of the Unify Desktop screen, click Manage Stores.
2. In the Manage Stores screen, click Add Store.
3. In the Select Store screen:
a. In the Store Name field, type the appropriate store name.
b. From the Select Store drop down box, click PrestaShop.
c. In the Store web address field, type the appropriate URL for your store address.
Note: To know how to generate this URL, follow the procedure (last section) of this article.
c. Click Continue.
5. In the Connect to your Store screen:
a. Type in your admin credentials (user name and password).
b. Click Connect to Store.
Unify Enterprise will now commence to download your store data and settings from PrestaShop.
c. Once the download process is complete, click Continue.
6. In the Store Address screen, fill in your store details in various fields such as Company, Address 1, City, State, Phone, Email, Website and more and then click Continue.
You will be directed to the Connect to Accounting Software screen, where you need to connect with your desired accounting package.

Generating PrestaShop URL
Before you actually generate PrestaShop's URL, you need to download the PrestaShop's store module (zip file) from the Webgility customer portal and save it in the desired location. Once done, you can upload this file, using the steps outlined in the following procedure and get the desired URL.

Note: Another alternative and the most preferred method is to upload the zip file through FTP.
To generate Prestashop URL
1. Login to Prestashop store with your login credentials (username & password).
2. In the left pane of the Dashboard, click Modules and Services > Modules and Services.
3. In the List of Modules screen,:
a. Click Add a new module.
b. Under Add a New Module, click Choose a file and upload the zip file that you might have downloaded earlier.
Once you have successfully uploaded the file, you get a confirmation message that the file has been uploaded successfully.
c. Under List of modules, check for Webgility section, along with the required URL that you need to enter in the Unify Enterprise screen. Copy and paste this URL in the Unify Enterprise screen for successfully connecting PrestaShop with Unify Desktop.
