eCC Cloud no longer compatible with QuickBooks Desktop

As part of their shift from QuickBooks Desktop versions (Pro, Premier, and Enterprise) to QuickBooks Online, Intuit is phasing out the connection between web-based apps like eCC Cloud connect to QuickBooks Desktop. Last year they announced the first phase in this transition. We continued to let current eCC Cloud users connect to QuickBooks Desktop, but new users were only able to connect to QuickBooks Online.

Intuit recently announced that in 2015 they will remove support for the the connection between apps like eCC Cloud and QuickBooks Desktop. To prepare for this, we need to move eCC Cloud users connected to QuickBooks Desktop to a different solution. We recognize that this is a frustrating change for these users, and we want to make this transition as smooth as possible. You will be able to continue using your current setup as long as you stay connected to QuickBooks Desktop. When your authorization expired, you will not be able to re-connect.

Option 1: Switch to QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online is a modern, web-based accounting platform that you can access anywhere, from any computer. In addition to eCC Cloud, there are hundreds of apps for your small business in the Intuit App Center. Click here to read their FAQ about switching, and then try QuickBooks Online free for 30 days.

Once you get your QuickBooks Online account set up, our Support Team can help you reconfigure eCC Cloud.

Option 2: Switch to eCC Desktop

eCC Desktop is a powerful, PC-based solution that tightly integrates with QuickBooks Pro, Premier, or Enterprise. It’s accounting automation features help you manage your orders, inventory, and customers.
