Installing The Webgility Store Module Using FTP Client Software (Shiplark for FedEx)

FTP information: Shiplark for FedEx connects to some shopping carts by installing the Webgility Store Module into the shopping cart admin.  FTP information is:

  • The location that the website is hosted (Host/URL)
  • Username & Password to access the backend files of the website

Check with your Web Developer or Hosting company to get this information prior to the start of your Installation service.

Step 1: Download the Webgility Store module from your the Webgility Customer Portal (downloads section).

Step 2: Unzip the file downloaded and extract the webgility folder.

Step 3: Using the FTP client of your choice (we are using filezilla in this screenshot), upload the module to the applicable area of your store.

Store module location: Either the Public or httpdocs folder (choose one)

Step 4: Once you have the Webgility Store module uploaded, right click and set 755 permissions recursively, as shown in the images below.

Step 5: That's it. All Done! You can return to Store Connections to proceed further.
