Using eCC Desktop as an add-on user

The greatest amount of functionality is given to the admin user.  Permissions can be set by the admin user, which can limit or grant usage within a particular area.  Even if an admin user grants permissions for all areas of eCC Desktop, the add-on user still may not: 

  • Manage stores (add new stores)
  • Adjust QuickBooks or online store connection to eCC Desktop
  • Utilize the product module
  • Transfer products 
  • Synchronize product quantity or price


Shipping orders

When given the permission to utilize the shipping module, the add-on user is able to: 

  • Configure shipping providers
  • Set default settings for QuickBooks Shipment Manager and Retrieve Tracking ID 
  • Adjust printers and label save locations
