How to connect Unify To Xero

Connect your accounting system to automatically sync order, customer, and product data across channels from one place. Unify currently supports only US based Xero Organizations and the default country of your organization must be set to United States. To connect Unify to Xero follow below steps:

Upon clicking on Connect to Xero, you will see a new Welcome to Xero window asking for your Xero credentials. Enter your ID and Password and Click on Login.

Step 3: When asked, Click the Authorize button to connect. If you have more than one organization, make sure you select the one you want to connect in Unify.

After Authorizing, Unify will begin downloading Contacts, Items and Other data from your Xero Organization. Once done you are ready to Sync orders.

Once Unify is connected to your QuickBooks Desktop company file, you will be automatically directed to the next step in the onboarding flow setting up how transactions, items, customers and taxes are created in QuickBooks Desktop.

Disconnecting Xero from Unify

If you have connected Unify to a test Xero Organization account and have already posted orders to that test organization account, it is extremely important that you "undo sync" the transactions (if they are real orders) Unify created in the test company, before it is disconnected from Unify.
This will allow you to re-sync those real order to your new Xero organization account that is connected to Unify.

The Xero Organization can be disconnected from Unify manually and at any time.  To initiate, go to the Connections tab and in the Accounting section click on the Disconnect link under Xero.

Confirm the disconnection by clicking on Yes.
